Hello everyone,

I'm moving in to a new place soon and will have a larger study which I will, among other things, use for PS4/Xbox One gaming.

I really like the design and features of Beovision Avant 55 and I'm confident that it will be great for watching movies, but what about games?

I'm a pretty demanding gamer in terms of screen refresh rate and currently using a 1080p plasma tv. The specs of Avant 55 do not look great, but I would like to ask those who already own one and, like me, love games to share their experience with Avant 55.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Raven,

I do own a Avant since last week and since 4 days I have some teenage guests at my place. We played fifa16 and trackmania while using the Game-Mode on the TV. For me, everything looked really nice. No ghosting, judders or something other anoying stuff. If you activate the Game-Mode, the whole "Post-Production" will be switched off. The usual enhancing processes for Movies are not needed for gaming. Therefore I am really satisfied with the refresh-rates and the picture quality.

Cheers Beroli

Thanks a lot for this information Beroli! Trackmania is sure a very fast game so if there would be problem you would probably notice

When you spend this amount on a TV, either ask for an in home demo, or take your consoles into store and have a play for a couple hours.

Only way you can truely find out.

Agree with Rob

Thats why i took a big USB drive with my MKV blu ray rips to ensure that they played over the USB connection - all was great.
