Hello everybody....
I am in the process of re-installing my MCL2P in a new location. I wish to reset the Passive to the factory default as the base of the new setup.
My concern is that I think in the dim distant past Ithat I "stored" settings so that the Passive is not at Factory default. Page 9 of the Passive manual gives instructions about using Beo4 reset option, but somewhere in the back of my mind I think the reset is only back to stored settings. I also think that there is a key / button combination that does a "sort of" hard reset to factory default.
Could the Guru's please advise:-
Is Beo4 reset a full reset to Factory ?
Is there a magic procedure to get Factory default ?
I have read 20 pages of postings on this but so far no go. I am so sure this subject has been covered before but just can't find the post which was about 7-10 years ago.
As always many thanks to the B&O community

I asked the same question regarding the BL active a while ago, but did not get any answer.
I had also asked 'some guys in knowing' - still noone knows ;-(

Nope, you are correct, this 'resets' to the stored values, not to factory values.

Not that I've ever managed to find. I've always ended up just counting the steps between, for example, minimum bass and maximum bass, then stepping back half this number to get to the mid point (then storing these settings)
Please do report back if you find a better / alternative method.
Kind Regards,
Martin.
Martin, Thank you for the feedback. I remain sure that there is a magic solution... I just have forgotten it !!!
I have one last person to ask..... the guru at the local B&O shop. Hopeful that Ian will know. If I find out I will share on this post.
