Your record player will act as any other device, that is connected to the line in of the Soundheart.
You will - of course - have to activate the preamp on the player.
Please note that you can adjust the input sensitivity level of the line input port in the settings of the Soundheart.
If you have set up your BS Moment in a B&O network, you can listen to the record player from any of the connected devices.

Yeah, when I'm sitting on the couch with a bottle of single malt, there's nothing better than having to get up every 20 min to flip the LP. Good sobriety test, when it gets to where I have to crawl to the turntable, I figure I'm probably ready for bed.

I have a related question:
In a setup with several Beolink Multiroom products up and running together, including a Moment, is there any other way of adding an LP player to the setup other than connecting is to the Moment? Can you use a beolink converter or something similar to make the LP-player be its own unit in the multiroom setup, and not dependent on the Moment? I know the option through the moment is cheaper, but what I'm after is the ability to also remotely control the LP player through the setup, using for instance the BeoMusic app.
What are the pros and cons of the two different ways to do it? And how much would you be able to remotely control on the LP-player, anyway? Play and stop? Or movement of the arm as well? You would need a Beogram, of course. Which Beograms would offer what functionality?
If anybody could shed some light on this, or already have experiences with it, I'm eager to listen! I don't have an LP-player today, but this is something I am planning on doing.

You'd need an audiomaster with a datalinked connection to the Beogram (a BM 7000 or 4500 with fitting vinyl players as examples).
This will have to be connected to the NL-network using a MCL/ML-Converter and the ML/NL-Converter, which is configured properly.
Alternatively any BS with datalink-aux and ML - to avoid the MCL/ML Converter.
Depending on how much/how little you are going to listen to vinyls and your need to remote control the few functions of the Beogram, it might/or might not be worth the efford.
Thank you for your answers! Sounds like this might not be worth the effort. For one thing, the turntable I ideally would like to buy is the BG4000. However, this does not accept remote control. The closest thing to it that does, as far as I can gather, is the BG4004. Using this and a setup like you describe I suppose I would at least be able to get play/stop-functionality, but it would require some beomaster product in between that I don't really want. Combined with already having to compromise on the visual appearance (BG4000), the final solution would be too far from what I would like to warrant the cost.
Maybe I should forfeit the idea of remote control, and just go for a BG4000 connected to the line in... and then wait for B&O to relaunch a new modern turntable! This should go in the "product wishlist"-thread. Features should be as follows: Design identical to Beogram 4000. Maybe just a small "modern tweak" like the meter over the buttons replaced with discrete OLED-screen or something. But completely revamped and modernized under the hood, including built-in RIAA-functionality, WiSA wireless connection to speakers, Beolink Multiroom-capable and of course remotely controllable via either Beoremote or Beomusic app. That would be something!
OR - has anyone tried one of these - adds an additional 3 inputs and each one programmable for a Beo4 - I think you could possibly connect this to the moment and have three extra sources
