Hi,
Thank you for a great forum!
Before I start up a warranty case, I want to ask you experts, if someone experienced similar issues with the A9.
Sometimes it goes completely mad, and turn the volume up and down by it self, and changes songs back and forth. Sometimes it just goes with the "dong" sound every second, until you cut the power.
When I connect through Bluetooth it also adjust the volume totally uncontrolled. Basically totally impossible to use...
When I reset factory settings, and set it up via Beo Setup in iPhone it works perfect for 2 days, and suddenly it just goes crazy again without any warnings.
1) I have a 300mbit internet connection, I have bought a brand new router with both 2,4ghz and 5ghz. Tried with both a D-Link and Apple router. It is approx. 5 meters from the router without any walls between.
2) It doesn't seem to be any difficulties to find it via Spotify Connect.
3) When it plays after factory-reset, it plays perfect.
Is it dead or what can it be?
Exchange it.

You may want to check to see if it has the most current software. You can do this through the BeoSetup app on either IOS or Android devices. The current software version is 1.5.376.31186857
It is updated to the newest software (it says its up to date in Beo Setup App).
I woke up 4am this morning because the speaker starting searching for internet radio stations, had to cut the power to make it stop.

This is starting to sound like the way a BS3 behaves when the control panel goes bad. Definitely, take it back for repair/replacement - hopefully, you can reproduce it.
It sounds like it needs repair or replacement then. We have had one in our show room for a year and it has worked great for us

The A9 came on automatically in the middle of the night? My Essence has done that to me several times and then unpairs the remote!
