I'd love to see a new design landline phone but have a feeling the BeoCom 5 was the last offering. Does anyone know any different? I have a number of BeoCom 6000s and enjoy them but really fancy a change after so many years. They look and feel a little tired these days and B&O have never disappointed in the past. I loved the BeoCom 2 which I had a couple of but since sold on. However, it seems they remain the only choice to buy back again at present; either that or the BeoCom 5 but that wasn't exactly a hit was it? Isn't it time for a new telephonic masterpiece from B&O? A mobile would be interesting too, particularly if it could somehow bring iOS and Android together in one singular platform. Wishful thinking! Simon
B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.

A B&O smartphone would be really interesting. It would be a step further from the current arrangement where you have B&O apps that you run on your iPhone (for example). On one hand, you get a lot of functionality with those apps, but I feel like having to go through the process of unlocking your phone and launching them to use them creates unnecessary friction to the user experience.
The B&O phone would be contextually aware and talk to all of your other B&O devices, so you don't have to launch apps to control your music systems or TVs. When you need them, the functions would just be there, maybe even with some simple and universal hardware controls, like the wheel in the Moment. At home, the phone is essentially a BeoRemote, with all the regular smarphone features neatly tucked away but at easy reach when needed. It would know when you're e.g. watching a film and not disturb you with notifications. Get an important call? Music will fade to the background or stop automatically. When you're not at home, the presentation of features would change to give more focus to the things you need on the go.
Obviously it would have to be a damn good smartphone, but also offer this kind of seamless integration with the ecosystem to add enough value for the user over other phones on the market.

"BeoMusic Windows Universal App" (Win10/Surface/WinPhone) That would be unique, no other company has one....
Of course, all other "Beo Apps" would be nice too.....
Once upon a time there was a BeoPlayer app for Windows and Macinthosh. The graphic user interface was simple, was nice to look at and was usable. It could still be a strong contender to iTunes. Why did B%O give it up?

Still use mine daily on my Win10 laptop. Still use it for synchronising my laptop and Beomaster 5 databases.
it's simple and effective and does it's job without any OTT thrills or gimmicks.

I would love to see something as simple as a FM/DAB radio....
Smaller then A6 multiroom speaker, for bathroom.
A true Beolit, radio plus Bluetooth streaming support, handle to allow it to hang from a wall mount, thin enough to hang on a wall without sticking out too much. Would be in my bathroom in a heartbeat as I like to listen to the radio news and such while showering.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.

In total agreement on this one.

yes a beolit with presets for Internet radio stations/FM and DAB and bluetooth - I use a OneRemote internet radio and it integrates with my main system and offers presets, but it would be great to have a Beolit that you could take away with you or use in the Garden etc.
