Currently i am a user of beolab 14 (5.1) and beovision avant 55.
Once i started using them, I was completely stunned by the great quality of these products.
After several months, there is completely no problems until I turned the sound module to 2.1 / 5.1 using Beolab14 .
At the very beginning, sometimes the right front loudspeaker of beolab14 is okay and perform equal volume as the left one. However, after some time, the volume of the right front loudspeaker would suddenly become very low afterwards, which I barely heard from that. Also, when I was turning up/down the volume with my remote, I could hear some 'zizi' sound from that loudspeaker, even I turned the sound mode from 2.1/5.1 back to using sound of TV only. The "zizi" sound only arised once I pressed the volume up/down button.
Therefore, I tried to swap the connection of the right front speaker with the left front one to the subwoofer. The above situation will happen to the left front loudspeaker and the right one become functional.
So can I deduce that the right front speaker slot of the subwoofer is not functional?
The B&O technician has come and taken the subwoofer away, and tried to fix it for two times. It may be functional for several hours but the above situation will come back after that.
Does anyone have any ideas about that? Thank you.

Sorry for my bad expression. Yes. What i actually mean is that i switch to different speaker groups in my avant, to 2.1 and 5.1. I just realise that even when i use the speaker group involving tv speaker only, i can hear some zizi sound from the right front loudspeaker when i am turning up/down the volume. I have to stand below the speaker to hear the zizi sound as it is almost barely heard if i sit about 2m apart from that.
The cables connecting the subwoofer and speakers are inside the wall. I tried to switch the connection of right front speaker and the left front one to the subwoofer, the left one will become unfunctional, that the sound has very very low volume and zizi sound heard when i am turning up/down the volume. So the cable connecting the subwoofer and the speaker is functional, i guess?
Ah I see. I haven't heard that sound from my tv but I will listen when I have time. Sounds weird though. Perhaps something is wrong with your tv. Have you tried changing to another PL-port on the TV? I think the subwoofer with its built in amps is the problem though.
Hi I have a similar problem.
Here's my setup:
Sometimes when I select a speakerrole with the beolab 6000 involved they make a soft siss and as a consequence no musical output. At one point I even thought the Beolab 6000 broke down so I replaced them with a second hand pair. However after a while the same issue started again. What makes this even worse is that I can't reproduce it. It just happens sometimes.
I tried all the following:
This is the workaround I use with the highest success rate:
I made a music role with only the rear speakers and when it happens I select this role. I increase the volume real high (in the beginning this was around 70 but it seems as this barrier increases overtime so now's it's the maximum). Then after a while it comes alive, you can imagine that this is not very pleasant way for me (and neighbours).
None seems to be the structural solution, please help ...
