My trusty BL2 (about 7-8 years old - not a ton of use, never any abuse) is no longer "clicking" on....

It is plugged in and the "red light" is on.... when I plug/unplug the relay and green light will click for a sec and then turn red - but no sound.

I have tried various configurations with other B&O kit - like directly out of BL4000 or directly out of my BS3500 - in addition to the sub output from a Mc pre-amp (that has worked with it previously before without troubles)

I don't have a local dealer for several hundred km.....

thoughts and help?

-michael

p.s. - I am in the US/Northeast Ohio.....

Did you try a different powerlink cable?

"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"

Unfortunately, that was the first thing I tried but I have more around

also made mistakes of taking apart to see if anything obvious - but no.

Sorry to drag out an old thread.
I had the EXACT same problem you had, and so my old BL2 sat in cupboard for 3 years. I recently took it to the store.... but the news was bad;
internally, it needed a 'new chassis'. It cost me approximately $1200 AUD but now it's back and working as it should. YAY!!!!

A great sub, worth fixing, and frankly they haven't made one as loud/powerful ever since the cessation of this product!

Glad they still have parts in stock for them. I bought one of the first to come to Australia, touch wood still going strong after daily use. Love the sound it produces too
