As a direct replacement for the Bang & Olufsen GF4 module, available here is
a preamplifier (RIAA) module for use in B&O Beogram 1200 & 1800 (round arm version only) etc.
The original GF4 was rarely needed back then so is quite rare now.
However, today with practically no modern amplifiers (B&O or otherwise) providing a Phono input, the
need for RIAAs has increased considerably.

This is a high quality module; The circuit board is through-plated with integrated shielding and
all components has been carefully and deliberately picked and selected to achieve the
warm and pleasant sound from the early 1970s while ensuring a stabile functionality and long life.

This module will fit your Beogram if it has a slot in the bottom plate like this:

(If no slot is present, this module will NOT fit your Beogram).

The RIAA module is available in two versions:

- A DIY-kit with the circuit board and all components in a zipper bag, ready to solder, for owners
with basic electronic skills and tools (soldering).
EUR 42 incl. packing & postage

- A completely assembled module, ready to plug in (no tools required).
EUR 94 incl. packing & postage.

Limited production.

Hi Martin

I know it's quiet Long ago but are there some kits or PCB of the preamp left?

Thanks for your reply.

Christian

P.S.: what's about the idler wheels for the BG 1200? Tests still running?
