First-new here and happy to now be a member after lurking for some time.  After some research here I decided on a TX.  Everything appears to work as expected across all buttons and functions net of one.  The buttons for "slow" inwards < and "slow" outwards > do not seem to respond.  The use of the two, inner and outer tone arm "slow" movement buttons provide little reaction by the arm.  If I press either one with the table and tone arm in Play the arm will lift but does not move. Same behavior with either button. If however I press the standard/"fast" <<, >> tone arm movement buttons they work as they should.  Any thoughts or help appreciated.  Thanks for the time and expertise.

Most likely a matter of cleaning and lubricating the threaded shaft and the carriage rails.
With only a very small electric current, the servo motor will not be able to move the carriage, if the mech. is not running smooth.

Thanks for the reply.  I've cleaned what is visible to me at this point.  Perhaps a disassembly is needed to clean it properly.
