beolink 1000 remote battery acid?

I have a beolink 1000 remote and it works fine for about 4 days but always leaks batt acid iv cleaned it put new batts in but nothing i do keeps it from causing the new batts to leak acid any ideas im lost on this one any help much appreciated

Have you fully stripped the control down as far as it will go? Sounds like it is draining the batteries which will likely cause them to leak...

Seems to be a common problem with 1000's, but not Beo4's.  Wonder why.

i took it fully apart a few months ago going to try and do it again tonight see if i can see anything i missed.
