Hi,

Last night we had a power outage in my place.Normally my Beosound 3200 Red LED had blinked after the power disconnection for more than 10 mins and then it asked PIN-code, then i do enter my 4 digit pin-code. But today its did not allowed me to enter the pin-code. The red LED only illuminates for now but no  red light flushing???

My Beosound 3200 doesn't react for no one keys of its front panel except the "LOAD" button.

I think my Beosound 3200 locked Off!!!

How can I enter my own PIN-code or reset it? Please help!!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Alvern

Welcome to BeoWorld.

I suggest you power off the BeoSound 3200 for a few minutes then power it on again and select a source. That should hopefully prompt you to enter the PIN. If it doesn't, you may need an engineer to look at it.

Good luck

Opman

You probably would have noticed if you entered the pincde wrong. It would have asked again after the first attempt.

Did the BS3200 start after entering the pincode?. Are there any other (pincode) protected devices connected by ML?

Try to program a  A-Option. A-opt 0,1 or 2. It should be set in Aopt1. Does the led blinks after an option-setting?

Does it blink when programming? With what numbers does your serialnumber start? With 15xxxx?

I did not try programming, just check the option using test mode TM 34: Read-out of options , my serial starts 180...

This problem sounds a lot like a known issue with the power supply. You might need to contact your local dealer.

There is a small fuse that causes this kind af failure if blown.

It is not one of those large psysical glass ones, though.

Small fuse?? its sounds like a super fast fix. Do you by any chance tell me the part number.

I hope its not too expensive part anyway.

HI Casper,

If by any chance you do not know the part number, may be you know the Type or Description of the power supply fuse.

Please reply with some info if you can.

Thank you so much for all your help
