Hi guys, as the title suggests, I'm trying to set this up but having trouble, I've read manuals, tried different parts but to no avail.
im using a beocenter 9000 connecting via beolink(same connection as phono??) on the rear to a beolink 1611 converter, which goes to the 3500 via masterlink
I've heard it's possible and with remote access too, but can't get any activity. I'm not sure if I have to change a setting on the bc9000 but can't find out how to
Hi Rob,
I use a Beolink 1611 converter with a Beocenter 8500 connected to a Beovision 6 so quite a similar setup.
You should use a 7 pin din connector between the AUX/TV on the Beocenter and the converter (not phono as mentioned in your post above).
If that doesn't help it might be the option setting on the Beocenter or BL3500 needs changed?
Beocenter 8500 / Beolab 4000 / Beosystem 5500 / Beolab 8000 / Beogram 2000 / Beosound 8 / Beovision 6-26 / Beovision MX4000 / Beomaster 1900-1 / Beovox CX50 / Beoplay H4 / Beoplay A1 / Beocom 1401 x2
I've managed to get the sound out of Aux connection and the tape connection. I'm guessing this is a way of doing it?
what do I do if there is already devices connected to those 2 sockets?
My advice - drop 'Steve at Sounds Heavenly' a mail, and ask him for the cable solution.
