I'm not sure what happened but when I press "DTV" on the BV7-55, I am unable to change channels or go into the DVB menu. The display on the right will show "RECORDING" but I have no recorder attached to it. I can't find anything information in the user guide. Any advice? Thanks

Agree. Set your BV to stdby mode and disconnect it from the mains for some minutes. Reconnect it wait a minute and activate it by pressing DTV.
Hope this helps.

It is kind of funky,- I have had the same experience.
BS3, BV7 same thing! You can still change the source, but DTV is stuck in the recording mode!
How do you stop recording from a Beo4?
I played around with this a bit more!
And it gets even funkier, a double click on record will invoke this mode and a double STOP will get you out!
Sometimes... occasionally it will simply lock up displaying record forever.. no stopping except for a power cycle...
I even managed to get a screen I haven't seen before: "Content protected try another input" or something to that extent!,
BeoSystem 3 = expiration date exceeded!

There is a tv - and there is a BV
