Beosound 9000: Is this sound when i opening and close the lid normal?

Yesterday i buy a very good looking Beosound 9000

I am new with this product so i don't know if the sound what i hear when i open and close the lid that this is normal or not?

No this sound is not normal. Your's sound as if the mechanism is having some resistance somewhere.

I am sure that others on the forum can be more precise about what is possibly not 100%
