I have a Beomaster 2400 it has lost display. My local repairer in India says that the dispaly control card is corroded and not repairable. Either we need a spare card or circuit diagram of the card to be able to repair it.
I really dont want to throw away my beautiful Beomaster which I bought in 1981 in Kuwait.
Is there some one who can help me with spares or circuit diagram ?

It's a common problem withvall these 1900-2400's.
The pins on the circuitboard are corroded and you can clean them. Usely is causes a malfunction when using it.
All the display is made by simple small light bulbs, these can still be ordered and changed.
I've overhauled several 1900 and 2400 completely. Beside the light bulbs there a lot of capacitors (60 ex. Max) which need to be changed.
Several capacitors are probably already leaking and corroded on the outside. These are easy to e recognized.
So, if you want to use the 2400 for the next years, it needs to be overhauled. You don't have to dump 2400, not at all!!!
I overhauled mine: check here, change all electrolytic caps and all lamps, clean all slide potentiometers, use Deoxit, if there are corrosion on the PCBs, clean with Deoxit, check for bad solder points, specially wire connections to PCB and the output transistors. Check all trimmers and change where needed.
You can get complete sets of lamps and caps from Dillen on this forum, comes with instructions.
