Just a masterlink cable from tv to passive, works a treat! The Avant has fantastic sound.

you can also use a fully wired powerlink(speaker) cable, it depends on what you are thinking of using the speakers for? if its in the same room to give a stereo sound from the tv then powerlink is what you want.

Hi Nick ,yes i want the speakers in the same room as extras iv'e acquired a   power link cable i think (as the power link got round 7pin din on each end ) if so iv'e got this but can't seam to get sound though the beovox, iam not sure were to connect on the AVANT, read manual and looked on net but can't seam to find any info .there 5 places to put cable but not sure which 1 if any ,your advice will be much appreciated cheers Shaun

you need to plug it into a front speaker socket on the rear of the avant, then go into the avant settings and tell that it has got speakers plugged in. I chose beolab 4000 for mine, and if your powerlink cable is fully wired it should turn the amp on and away you go!

The only thing i will say is that the avant speakers are better than the beovox but the stereo will be wider effect!  The beovox would make great rear speakers in a surround sound setup!

Cheers Nick
