Hi All,

Greeting to All. Today, i found out my beolab 4000 one of the speaker is DEAD. No LED power light up. No Red on standby.

My was type 6642. 220-240 VAC

I took it apart and swap the power module with the good one and it was working. So, i think the power module must be the one.

Can anyone help to get me one power pcb module. I called them B&O and they would not want to sell me the parts. I was down with a broken heart when they tell me the super duper charges.

When i was testing out and found that the optocoupler may be the problem. Can someone shine me the way!

Cheers, Jason

@Jason

Unfortunately, you might have the MKII IcePower version.

The original 4000 was a copy of the Avant speaker system, and thus spare parts can easily be sourced Smile

If you could share a picture of the PSU, It would properly be a lot easier to help you.

Most parts can be sourced from Digikey or Mouser.

As bad as it sounds, you could probably just buy another set off eBay. They are getting so cheap. Then you have a spare speaker!
