I am reluctantly considering selling my beloved Beogram 8002. It is in beautiful condition and works and sounds great. It has a brand new mmc2 cartridge built by Hans-Hendrick which on its own costs about $275 if I remember correctly. I'm thinking about $1100 USD including the cartridge. Does this sound right?
No hard feelings, but I think the price you imagined is not realistic.
I think you could get 250-350$ for the TT + 200-300$ for the cartridge -> 500-600$ in whole.
The 1100$ could be maybe possible for a dealer, for the mint device, serviced and with full guaranty. But even than difficult...
Of course, if you have enough time to wait, maybe you will find somebody who is looking exactly for this model and who is willing to pay more.
That's my opinion watching the market since few years...

Theomaster, Thanks for your response... that's helpful.
Recently on eBay, there was a Beogram 8002 refurbished with warrantee for $1100 without a cartridge... Physically, mine looks almost as good as the refurbished one, but it hasn't been rebuilt from the ground up mechanically. Then again, I've seen 8002s that are being sold for parts go for over $400!
Maybe I'll do an auction and let the market sort it out
