Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me what size screws B&O used for the tonearm azimuth adjusters on the Beogram 8000?

I know they are DIN 7985 but I have no idea what size.

Please help

It's described in the service manual as

Screw AM 2x6 DIN 7985

I have assumed this means A for stainless M2 size 6mm long DIN 7985 thread.

Is this correct?

I have never replaced that screw but the 2 x 6 means 2mm diameter of the screw shaft and 6mm shaft length.
For material, it is possible that the "A" stands for Austenitic Stainless although most examples I found of that use a designator of "A" plus a number (like A2). I couldn't find any description of metric screws or bolts where the part is listed as AM d x l.
Are you wanting to change out that screw?
