Hi
Was wondering if anyone has ever gone to B&O Stories?
I found this one interesting
http://stories.bang-olufsen.com/story/kenneth-loi
Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2, BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century, BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i, BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40, BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)
Man - that house is packed with B&O stuff ;-))

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Although the pictures are beautiful... it would not be possible for me to live in such a place...
First thing that came into my mind was "kitch" :-/

I guess you'll better NOT use any flash while taking photos in that house... you'll probably end up blinded.
And he said this too:
“The only thing missing in my collection is a new record player,” he says with a smile and continues, “I would give everything if you re-introduced the BeoGram. And you know what, if you did a kitchen too that, would be perfect.”
Could it be reincarnation of RG (Radiogram) made from glass and pearls?!?!
But as this story can be found on the official B&O site, maybe it is a hidden message from B&O. Maybe we will really see the new Beogram soon..
Vintage Bang & Olufsen
Bang & Olufsen would be clever to just rebadge a Technics SL-1200 as they are re-introduced again and built like (nice looking) tanks
That reminds me that my Beogram 4500 is up for its monthly exercise....
....just to keep it alive - now that I have it ;-)
I truly agree TWG if B&O were to do a turntable, there best bet would be to partner with REGA or even LINN but I don't think that could ever happen. Don't forget the culture of B&O in 2016 is a whole planet away from the turntable B&O days of the 1960s-70s.
Certainly take a BeoGram 4000/6500 etc design and build on it.
I miss the B&O stories from the 1990s catalogues. To me, that story was too B&O of the early 2000s. It was a house filled with materialism and no soul. What I did not see was a home - a place filled with love, family, children, wife/partner, children's toys and a dog/pets. I was looking for those things throughout the rather souls pictures. It made feel sad :( Now, when I look back at those old 1990s catalogues, they 'invited' you to join them for a while. My favourite was from 1999 with a surfer who bought a B&O Century and he would tape the sound of the waves!
yes ...the same opinion

Goes to show that success doesn't necessarily mean good taste. To each their own. I'm happy that gentleman likes it, but ostentatious opulence isn't for me.
When I see that kind of wealth I just think "good luck.. you're clearly good at what you do, so you deserve to have what you want"
Absolutely not my taste though - apart from the B&O, obviously
