Hi All,

I'm looking to replace some blistered/flaking/cracked "tropical fish" capacitors on the AM board (PC4) of a Beomaster 2200.  They may still be functional but they are too low a value to measure on an ESR meter.

There are four of them: 0.1uF ± 20% rated at 250v.   The leads are 1 cm apart.

Does anyone have any recommendations as I'm not sure what would be a suitable replacement?

Thanks again,

They are polyester capacitors (not electrolytics), measuring their ESR won't really tell you anything.
Don't worry too much about cracking outer coatings. They'll be fine, I'm sure.
But if you must replace them, I would suggest new polyester caps. The "orange drops" or green mylar would both be good choices.
