Can anyone provide of point me to a video of procedures to remove the platter and secure the platter suspension on a Beogram 1602? I have a platter that appears to be locked on to the spindle and can't be removed.
Thanks

There's a good chance it just binds to the hub. They can sometimes bind immensely.

Finally something I can help with :)
Okay, so the 1602 suspension uses three(3) flat head screws to put the suspension into and out of Transit mode.
Removing the platter is easy, just pick up on the outside edge and lift it off. Sometimes it feels like it's a little stuck, but just give it a few wiggles and it should come right off.
Then you'll see the 3 screws, can't miss them. Turn them counter clockwise to put the suspension into transit mode. Turn them clockwise to use the deck normally :)
