Do I need/would I notice a subwoofer?

Hi All -

My set-up: Beovision 11 connected to a beolab essence (v1) and some beolab 12.2s up on a mezzanine with a pair of beolab 2's in the floor below the mezzanine (open space between the two so they've sort of work together).

I'm not too bothered about adding bass to my TV but for playing music through the essence to the two sets of speakers I've long been concidering adding a beolab 19 up on the mezzanine.

Music: I generally listen at a normal (not loud) volume to pop, classical/opera and some house

Question is: do you think i'd notice the beolab 19? (Upstairs on the mezzanine and below in the room down there?)

I'm ready to buy one but when I'be listened in the shop with a sub on and a sub off I often bought  can't tell a lot of difference?
