I'm struggling to understand how I can expand my Home installation into the new digital world. Here is my problem. My entire house is set up with hard wired Master link system. I added last year a new Geovision Avant and the TV was connected to a NL / ML converter. so all my sources can now be listened to in all rooms if required. Now comes my problem:
I want to expand into the garden and also add another room. For the Garden I would like to get the new Beosound 1 wireless speaker. Is it possible to get this one into my system and listen to the same source as the main house. To explain, I quite often listen to music using the Apple TV4 which is connected to the TV. I than can switch on any room in the house and listen to the source. Quit nice for example when you have a party. So kitchen , Living room , dining room etc are all playing the same music. For the garden I now would connect the Beosound 1 and listen to the same music.
Also I wonder why B&O is ignoring the Apple Music system. You can get Spotify , Derer etc but not Apple Music integrated into the system. Only using Apple TV4 or Airplay. No Apps our setup as a direct source which would be cool. Anyone has any more information on this one? B&O is not answering my requests. When I write to them I always get the same standard answer. We are constantly looking into it and perhaps we will offer in the future....
Your ATV4 is connected to the Avant? If so, this should easily work with the BS1. You just use the Beomusic app and have the BS1 (in your graden) "join" the Avant.
Out of curiosity, does your ML devices play in sync with your Avant via the ML/NL? I am surprised they do as I would have anticipated that the ML/NL has to do some decoding and the ML devices would be out of sync with your Avant?
Don't expect any Apple Music soon. Apple prefers to keep it in their eco system. Having said this, you have airplay and the ATV4, so should all work well in all rooms for you?

I have a set up that has some older and newer products (both NL/ML). Specifically an Avant 55/ Beosound 5, beocentre 2 with beolab 3's, an A6 and now a beosound 5. They all link well and I can control them via the BeoPlay app. It all works quite well and easily. Most often I'm linking all of the products to play the same music. Occasionally they play slightly out of sync but then catch up.

Yes, I have a NL/ML converter sitting with the beomaster/sound 5.
I also have an essence box connected to the beocenter 2/ beolab 3.
It all works rather well to be honest.
I can use the BeoMusic app to turn the Beosound on/off and control volume and skip tracks.
I have the avant set as the master to the beosound 5 (they are in the same room).
All works quite well. The Bang and Olufsen technicians set it all up so it would work properly.
Sometimes I have a slight delay between products, however it usually corrects itself.

No delays. My dealer put a device in to synchronic automatically the audio signal. The avant-garde as well as some loudspeakers and different devices form B&O are playing in a wide open living , Kittchen and eating area. That works fine.
You should not have needed to put a "delay" box to sync the music - if this is what youmean.
You can change the delay settings on the beomusic / beosetup app.
If you start your Avant and then have your music playing - you simply tap your BS1 and it will join the ongoing music - so you can do that without the app.

The only issue I have is that the Avant 55 is not able to join the multiroom setup. All I can find is the NL/ML Converter as a Source. I was told bey B&O that a new software will fix it. The software should be available within the next 10 weeks .

Yes, the software update for multiroom functionality on the Android based BeoVisions is scheduled to be released in week 10 of 2017.

...and more importantly for many, the integrated setup option (shared speakers) - but yes, the full Beomusic app multiroom functionality (eg. link/borrowed sources, expand functionality etc) will follow in a subsequent update.
I am afraid that it will take several sw-updates to get the full multiroom functionallity.
