Just wanted to say a big hi to all and especially to all those who can still remember me after the years of my absence here - always fun & helpful ...(It was caused by me going through some thick & thin stuff as it happens, but that’s another unrelated story…) :-)
Hi Saf,
I do remember a very useful post from you, must be somewhere around 2007-08. Although I have only read the topic but not answered at that time.
It was about how many steps there where needed to get a passive or was it an active back to a neutral tonality.
Till today I have not forgotten this (my passive is still in use). One of those things B&O forgot to mention in the manuals.
So about 8 to 9 years later, thanks for the info and welcome back.

Welcome back - hope all is now well. I was looking back at some old photos the other day and had forgotten just how much B&O I used to own - seems like another world!!
Peter
Great to see you back again saf. We had lots of useful and informative discussions about the BeoVision 5,, 7, 9 and BL5 vs BL9 particularly you might recall, also around 2008 when I was making a new purchase. I ended up buying the 7-40 Mk3, BS9000 Mk3, BL9s, BL3500S, BS2300, BC2 phones and various other bits and pieces. I have since changed the tv for a BV9 which I still really enjoy. Will change again next year for the OLED. Had the whole house rewired and linked, only to change it all around again just 2 years later! I have also changed my username from The Beonic Man to the current one, again, no particular reason just always changing things around! Are you still a fan and do you have any B&O stuff or perhaps considering buying anything new at this time? I always enjoyed out discussions and look forward to many more. All the best, Simon :)
B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.
Cheers, Chris - guess it'll be me who needs to be brought up to speed now... :-)
Thanks, Peter - great hearing from you! Hopefully on the right track... :-)
Thanks Simon - still have all my B&O - it has been though Thoroughly neglected... well, time to do something about it! :-)
Hi Duels & thanks for warm welcoming! :-)
