Hi Guys,

I've finally joined the Beogram 4000 club.. my deck is all working perfectly apart from the keypad. It's had lots of work done to it in the past and I just keep making it worse. It's now got damaged solder pads (lifted) and a couple of broken switches.

I'm looking for a replacement if anyone can help.

Fingers crossed.

Lee

Check with Frede and Beolover. They completely refurbish the Beogram 4000 leaf switches (silver and gold plating them). If yours have missing leaf switches they might be able to get you replacements. Congratulations on your find.  It can take a while to get these BG4000 turntables back to full functionality but is well worth it.

I'll also add...You may get lucky and someone has a spare control panel board but don't let that stop you if you can't find one. That type of board trace should be fairly easy to repair. The problem with getting that board working perfectly is usually with the leaf switches. I went through a lot of readjustments of mine before they worked perfectly.
