I currently own a BeoPlay A9 Mk1, but wanting to move to multiroom which requires Mk2.

What are usually the time frames for the next versions, aka MK3? Do you think it's worth holding out another year?

Hard to say, but we will have updated products in the beginning of 2017 when bluetooth is updated to higher bandwith bringing better sound wirelessly.

Martin, that would be a Mk2 and a half!

Austin, what are you expecting/missing?

Really only upgrading for multiroom. I love the A9, would just hate to upgrade then 6 months later the Mk3 comes out...

And you will get multiroom with the Mk2!

I don't expect any MK3 - at least none, that includes major changes, new functions.

I guess most 'development' will come with SW updates for the current version.

This is not like waiting for the new MacBook :)

I prefer the MK1. They removed the Beo4 support in the MK2, which is critical for me. I use the Beo4 to control my A9 all the time. Not sure what 'advantages' waiting for a MK3 would offer.
