After some excellent advise from Dillen, and replacing all caps and trimmers in my Beolab 200's, i am trying to adjust the idle current.

Dillen has helped me out a lot, but I would like to hear from anyone that have made the adjustment recently.

My question is... Is it normal that it takes 5 minutes for the middle current to stabilise ? And when is the correct time to adjust to 30mV

When I turn the amp on, it starts on 16mV and then after 30 seconds is on approx 25, if I then adjust to 30 mV, and let it stay on, it rises to over approx 42 after 5 minutes, and then stay there.

If I adjust to 30mV later than after 3o seconds, it starts even lower when powered on totally cold again.. If I adjust to 30mV earlier, it rises to well above 40mV.

What is the correct way to do this adjustment, and could there be an issue with the heat resistor not measuring correct ?
