Hi,

My BC 9500 is connected with 2 Penta's MKII via powerlink cables.

No sound is produced only the displays on the MKII work.

If I connect them with the DIN (2 pin) cable the loudspeakers produce sound but of course no display.

Anybody has an idea to resolve this.

Thanks

James

If you're using pwerlink, the switch from the penta has to be set to L or R.

Does the red light switch from red to green in the bottom of the penta?

Btw, the penta needs the full wired powerlink cables. So the thin version will not work.

Hi Beobuddy,

Yes I have tried L&R and also autostand on the Penta's.

The powerlink cables is the MKIII (thick) one.

The red light turns green but no sound.

You have the wrong powerlink cables. You need the mk2. Speak to Steve at Sounds Heavenly who advertises here at the bottom of this page

If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.

AFAIR even MK1 powerlink cables will produce sound, you only need MK2's to get the displays going.

I have seen this problem before and I swopped the socket/pre amp module with a known working example to get the powerlink outputs to work.
