I changed the nice looking Philips 6,3 V 300mA bulbs, with new ones.. (7V 300 mA and they look not that well made as the originals)
left and right, but no light....:( I did read that the 7V are lasting longer.. thats why I bought the 7V....
If someone could advise me what I could do!! Winter is coming and some working lights would be really needed!:)
Is the 900 working ?, if yes check the power feed to the lamps, check inside of the sockets first and then according to diagram backwards until you find out where it disappears, maybe it is only corrosion inside the sockets
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
The dial light bulbs have their own fuse (located far apart from the other fuses) and for some reason that fuse socket tends to corrode. I'll bet that you will find green growth in it. Clean it carefully, it will probably be fragile as well.
