I have a BM 1900 that will power on, to red dot, but when I touch any of the receiver presets, tape or phono I just hear a click and nothing else happens.  So it turns on, but I can not select radio, phono or tape.  I looked inside, and did not see any problems with the red caps, I did see a lot of what looked like blown four band ceramic caps.  Could this be causing the problem?

Hi,

No, those Philips caps never fail, and it is just paraffin coating that you see. Do replace all ROE red caps though!
