Is it possible to use the TV mode on a beo4 / BV7 (mkII) with an cablebox on scart/dvi? I see the decoder function but it only lets me 'find' channels with the setup-box and no-ir control.

Do you have the controller cable from the tv to the decorder? You need it to control the decoder, you also need to have the tv set up with the right configuration for your box - BeO dealer or service guy does that for you.

I have tried to have my BV10 set so TV starts the box but I could not get it to work. So I have set mine to DTV, Im just not using my TV button..

I'm not sure if this applies to all B&O TVs but I think on most you cannot assign a set top box or decoder to the TV button on the Beo4. That is permanently set to the internal tuner. But you can assign it to the DTV or SAT button if you don't have a DVB module installed. If you do have the DVB module I believe that is permanently assigned to the DTV button so you have to use the V-AUX soft key in the Beo4 LIST menu.

Hopefully, if I am wrong on that someone will put me right.

On newer Beovisions you can deactivate the internal tuner. Then the HD module starts with the TV button on Beo 4. So you can assign the DTV button to other devices.
