Beocenter 2500 Beolab 2500 - What cables?

I have recently aquired a Beocenter 2500  with Beolab 2500 speakers but they came with no cables. I have ordered a set of B&O speaker cables but I notice that the speakers have what appears to be a pair of mains power sockets. Do I need to get some mains cables for the speakers?

Yes, you do!

since the speakers are active/powered speaker, the need a power cable to work.

Ok! Thanks for the reply - so what cables will I need? - just two regular mains cables plugged individually into the wall sockets? I notice there are two different sockets on the speakers.

If I remember well, they can be 'daisychained', in order to have just one cord running to the outlet.

These cables were originally provided with the set - but you can use two individual cords.
