Anyone considering the new chrome cast ultra with 4K and Netflix support? I'm considering buying one instead of the nvidia shield but haven't yet decided. It's quite cheap too.

I've had one for a few weeks now - plugged into a 4k computer monitor. If you're familiar with the previous CC, it's virtually identical, albeit a bit larger, physically. One thing I didn't realize when I bought it was that my internet package was not fast enough to accomodate 4k streaming (20-25Mbps is recommended). Otherwise it works great.

TL;DR Big Smile

I think the problem with chrome cast is that you need a mobile phone to use it. I want a OSD and a remote to go with it. Preferable with IR/PUC support. Like the nvidia shield. But the chrome cast is so small and it makes me curious.
