Hello.

I wonder if I can use playmaker in the new beolink multiroom environment?  I would like to connect Beolab 4000 to the playmaker and get them recognised by the BeoMusic application.  Would it work?  Also, I do not really understand the difference between the playmaker and the B&O Receiver 1?  Would both be compatible with the beolink multiform?  Lot of questions...

Thanks in advance!

Emmanuel

Hi Emmanuel,

Playmaker is  device to which you can Airplay music from e.g a mobile phone. You can then connect your Beolab speakers directly to the Playmaker.

The Beomusic app only work with the newer products with the netlink concept.

Beoreceiver 1 and Beotransmitter 1 are devices you can use when you want a cordless connection between e.g Playmaker and Beolab speakers.

Playmaker is not part of any multiroom solution.
