Hi All,

Question please.... I have a BeoLink 7000 which I just had serviced with new caps, batteries etc and was hoping that this would cure a few issues including the remote coming up with "No Contact" when it talks to the main system.

The servicer has mentioned that a setup has been stored causing this to happen.

Does anyone know if this is correct and how you reprogramme the BeoLink to recognise the main system to set up the two way communication.

Many thanks

Hi Mark,

to setup the Beolink to One-way or Two-Way Mode you have to remove all audio and video devices from the setup and again add them one by one. While adding the Radio for example the remote sends an IR-Command and waits for a response from the Beomaster / BeoSound / BeoSystem. If it gets the response the BeoLink 7000 learns that the Radio device is capable of 2-Way communication. If it doen't get an response it knows that the Radio is only capable for 1-Way communication.

This has to be done for every source you wnt to add to your BeoLink 7000 device.
