Beogram 6000 tracking issue

I am experiencing tracking problems with my Beogram 6000 Type 5512.


When playing a LP it “appears” the tonearm not moves and literally push the stylus over the grooves until almost touch the sensor arm.When press "START" the carriage moves to LP first groove but no way to change its position.All the other commands of the carriage works very well.

Any thoughts?

Repair the lamp / interrupter / opto at the foot of the carriage.
Most likely a burned lamp.
