Hi all my question what happens next concerns how beoplay have handled a repair which was done under warranty. The origional A2 in grey /copper had developed a perminant flashing orange when plugged into mains supply, i filled in the online diagnoses info and it was collected and sent to germany in Gutershoh "where i was posted to in the 1980s courtesy of the RAF by coincidence" the service has been great with respect to communication and sorting out the item it was indeed faulty and another A2 is being issued as a replacement in champagne grey as the origional colour was not available anymore Whats my problem ? well i really liked the grey/copper origional and offered a price to Beoplay so i could keep it but no can do ! im sure it was only a battery pack replacement and a whole A2 is now presumably scrapped! its annoying and wasteful just to discard it. Can anyone in the know advise what happens to these items it was in immaculate condition and treasured or am i just being over reactionary ??
