I am thinking about connecting my Beomaster 7000 (in the living room) to my Beosound 2300 (in the kitchen). Mainly to be able to listen to music from the Beomaster 7000 in both rooms. For example when playing vinyl on the Beogram 7000.
What would be the best way to do this?
Would it be with a masterlink cable from the powerlink socket on the BM 7000 to the powerlink socket on the BS 2300?
Or is there a smarter way for example by using a BS Essence.
I am currently using airport express on both the BM 7000 and the BS 2300.
Office: Beomaster 3000-2 with Beovox P45 (all in white)
Living room: Beomaster 7000 and Beogram 7000 with Beovox RL 7000 (all in white)
Kitchen: Beocenter 2300 with Beovox 4500 (not available in white :-(

This is an interesting idea, I had made a few similar cables previously for setups like this. The best option is usually a 5 pin DIN (non-Datalink) Aux cross-over cable to go between the Aux sockets on the Beomaster and the Beosound. This doesn't control the Beomaster from the Beosound, but it allows music from either system to be played on the other system at any time by selecting the Aux input.

Thanks. I did not know that the aux socket also sends Sound out.
Hmmm ... just checked and the BS 2300 only have one eksternal input, the aux socket. Which is alreday taken by the airport express.
Maybe changing the airport express to a sonos connect or BS essence on the BS 2300 would give me an extra "aux" input?
The Aux sockets on both units are both inputs and outputs, so you can send sound in either direction. The simplest solution is to add this Aux Splitter as well as the cross-over cable if you wish to keep the Airport Express connected to the BS2300 Aux socket as well as the new cable to the BM7000:-
