One of the 8" woofers on my BEOVOX 2400 recently failed after 40 years. I was wondering if anybody knew what would be a suitable replacement for the SEAS original woofer, which as far as I can see is no longer made
What is problem with the bass driver ??
Welcome to the forum
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
And can you post a picture, there's a slight chance I might have them in my shack and if so you can have them for free (except for the postage)!

I think the coil must be burnt out as when I connect a 1.5 v battery across the terminals there is no movement . Also, the cone does not move up and down smoothly. I connected another speaker to the output wires and that works
Hi
PHotos attached
thanks
That's not an original Beovox 2400 woofer (that would have been a Celestion rather than a SEAS).Could be a 2600, though.

Found these...
That looks like the one! Does it work?08
Yes off course it works, would you like to have them, one or all of them? Maybe others have interest in having these drivers for free. Postage have to be paid though!
Many thanks to Leslie for sending these speakers to Australia from NL. They arrived today and I wasted no time installing them in the B&O 2400s. They are fantastic.
My pleasure Ken! Hope you enjoy them...
Would any of the oval speakers work as a replacement in a Beolit 700 per chance?
Thanks
