BeoSound 2 Brass not released yet. Stock expected towards the end of January.

The BeoSound 2 in brass has been bumped to end of March, apparently concentrating on trying to keep up with demand for natural Sound 2...I've still got four available 🙂
How much will be the price increase in January?

The Sound 1 is £995 and the Sound 2 is £1350.
On 1st January Sound 1 is £1085 (9% increase) and the 2 will be £1475 (9.3% increase)
Did I say that I have both in stock..?😀😮
The price increase varies between products. Some products will remain unchanged and others up to 12.5% (A9 front cover)
Thanks for the info. It's quite a huge increase for a just released product. I just would like to have more infos about the coming Beoplay M5 to decide between both... So I'll wait a bit to see if something comes out.

Say what?! They sent the brass brochure to customers a few weeks ago! Only B&O could do that...

almost certainly a big factor.......although a bit more obvious in the case of Apple etc being US sourced products......

guessing others have listened to both the BS1 and 2 by now.....spent 20 minutes doing a side by side comparison today in the Islington store in London....i was actually surprised that the BS1 sounded decent, wasnt expecting that.....the BS2 certainly sounded a step up, but wasnt as night and day as i would have thought........
also saw the new M5 or whatever its called......cloth covered short stubby cylinder, with the top in black that rotated.....didn't do it for me, seemed rather indistinct to me....after the quality design of the BS1/2, the M was underwhelming design wise.....

Maybe - interesting point Duels. I wonder if they are going up here too - they always seem to :-) Well come to think of it last time there was a price rise they sent me an email "get your order in now" haha - I'll call the dealer and find out.
The price increase is UK only I believe and due to the continued weak pound to the Danish Krone...
The M5 is a different animal - a Play product sitting between Beolit 15 and A6. Doesn't come close to the BeoSound 1 and certainly not the BeoSound 2
