I just got a PS4 Pro. I have some games set up to output in 4K but is there anyway to check that the signal being displayed is actually 4K? The PlayStation settings says it is outputting in 4K.
To check I went into the service menu on the avant / signal information and the Input Resolution says 3840x2160p BUT the Output Disp Res says 1920x1080p
Is there anything I'm supposed to do to enable 4K on the Avant? I'm using HDMI 1.
It's a bug in Avant caused by bypassing "normal" video processing done for FHD and lower. It's actually outputting UHD, but "signal information" does not pick it up.
Just verifify closly if the OSD menu is bit blurrier than on usual FHD source - if it is - it's on UHD.

Thanks Sneak. I wonder if it is the same on the newer BV 14 and Horizon or have they patched the problem?
BV14 and Horizon are totally new platform and from the beginning native to UHD - so I assume this problem does not exist there.

The OSD is 1920x1080, it's "manually" (that's why it was missing in the first release) added to UHD content and streched to cover the whole screen.
