Is it possible to connect Beogram 6500 to the external sound system such as Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z906? I have found RCA Plugs to Bang & Olufsen B&O 7-Pin DIN Plug on eBay but not sure that will do the trick. As I understand it is important the direction of the signal, so in my case it is from Beogram 6500 to Logitech subwoofer and speakers. Furthermore, there are two 7-pin DIN in B&O. Were and how to connect it to Logitech, if at all possible? Please advise
I dont own any of that equipment but it sounds like what you need is the converter cable and a phono pre amp as I doubt that it will have a phono pre amp section, both are cheap
7 pin dins the 2 extra pins unscrew but don't loose them far to many have missing pins and they are used for the auto functions between the B&O amps and Beograms.
but some beograms have pre amps built in so you will have to research it
The 6500 has a built in pre-amp. It produces line level - the same as a cd player. How will you control volume?

The Beogram 6500 has a built in RIAA pre amp so the DIN plug is at line level. I doubt that you will be able to connect this directly to speakers/subwoofer without some form of control system such as a Beomaster.
