As with all B&O, optical condition is essential.
The rest can be fixed.

It would be nice if the optional stereo decoder is present.

There are two antennas, both are built in; One for AM in the form of a ferrite rod with coils and one dipole type for FM in the form
of two lengths of wire taped to the inside of the cabinet.
Is one of them missing?

I can supply almost any part you may need for this model - and that includes both the built-in AM antenna and correct lamps.

  3. Is one of them missing?

  1. If by "optical" you mean "aesthetically", then it looks OK (on photos...)
  2. Is there an easy way to know for stereo (I got some photos only for the moment, but I can ask for more) ?
  3. About the FM antenna, I think the seller believes it's supposed to be outside...

1. Yes.
2. No. You cannot tell from outside if the module has been installed or not without powering up and tuning to a stereo station.
Note that if the stereo indicator lamp has burned, you can only do a listening test to tell.
You can test the stereo lamp  - it should be on when Tape or Phono is selected.
With the stereo decoder module came a small white label with the text "DECODER" to stick on the back of the Beomaster. Not all installers put the
sticker on and many stickers will have fallen off by now and the module could have been there at some point but removed later so that's
not to be blindly trusted.
3. There are sockets for external antennas at the back but an external antenna was never included with the Beomaster from factory.

As new (almost) Wink (a lamp is dead and the rubber feet are worn)

With a stereo board and 2 "blue prints" inside !

Oh it's the black version! Looks great.

Do your furniture a favour and replace the rubber feet. They are usually always hardened and brittle, and it makes no sense preserving them. There are similar screw-on feet available, and I have used self adhesive furniture feet pads as well.

Yes, it's beautiful (dark grey, not really black) and in very good shape.

The inside was astonishingly clean !

Thank you Mika Beer

[Edit] nice avatar Wink

One surprinsing thing is that the signal meter works... as it's supposed to! (i.e. good reception = high number)

(I read on Beoworld that it was like "reversed" !?!)

What amaze me most is how powerful it is ?!?

The volume button should be almost fully turned to the left in order to have a "normal" morning level. And if it's too close to zero, the sound goes out of the right speaker only.
