Hi,

At the moment we own a BS/BM5 with BL6000 which is connected to the Converter.

When we distribute music from the BS5 we always have a delay (BS5 is "faster").

My dealer told me that the only way out of this is to switch to a BS E or M.

Do you have any Ideas? (The delay time in A9/A6 and NL Con is reduced to 30 wired/ and wireless).

Otherwise we will sell our BS5[:\'(].

Thanks!

It's not clear from your description whether the BL6000 speakers are connected to the BM5 or to the NL/ML converter - can you confirm which is the case?

Martin.

Hi Martin,

The BL are connected to the BS5.

When I connected the BL to the Converter, it was strange to us to use the beosound.

Activate BS. Then separate the mainroom speakers. (With no or just a really tiny delay).

Thanks for your help.

Connecting the speakers to the Converter is the only way to remove the delay issue between the different rooms.

If the converter is setup correctly, there shouldn't be any need to activate the speakers separately from the BeoSound.

The Beosound should be set to AudioMaster = Yes, Option 0, and the converter needs to be set to the role of Video Master.

The speakers (connecter to the converter) should then turn on automatically whenever you start something playing using the Beosound.

I would also then set all the delay values back to 50 (wired) and 1000 (wifi) for maximum reliability.

I'm assuming that the BS5/BM5 is the only masterlink device connected to the converter and that there are no other Masterlink products in your setup?

Martin.

Hi Martin,

Yes, the BS5 is the only ML Product.

I'll try your recommendations. My dealer told me ML Role Audio Master, that's probably the reason why it was really strange to use.

Thanks again.

Hi Martin,

Today I tried to use the beoplay app to control the system.

Maybe you can give me in this context some advice.

Spotify (used with the BM5) or Radio is distributed through the house to netlink speakers.

- works fine. (Control via the App is not always working).

If I try to distribute Deezer from the A9 to the speakers connected with the converter I recognized two things.

1. I can not add the speakers via the app. (A6 works)

2. If I press join on the IR Sensor. It works.

Do you have an Idea?

(Of course this is not a big issue because we use Spotify and I just tried the test month with Deezer, but I try to understand that. (Or I made a mistake in programming the Converter Whistle))

Thanks again for your hints.

Hi,

found my mistake - I have to tell the converter that I'd like to control the converter with speakers not the BM5.
