Hi all, just wondered if anyone knew if it was possible to control a PS4 through B&O yet (as you can control a PS3 with IR-BT)?

And on the same topic (as this is what I was thinking of using Netflix on the PS4 Pro for) - what sources are people using for 4K content?

BeoVision Eclipse 55”, Beolab 18s, Beolab 19s, Beosound 1, Beoplay P2, H3, BeoRemote One IR, BeoRemote One BT, Beoplay S8, Beosound Essence MkII, BeoTime

Hi Chris.

In answer to you other question I am now using the Xbox one S after PS4 of many years

Netflix 4K is good on it and easy to navigate with the BeoRemote one.l with the PUC.

I have relegated the PS4 out the front with my Sony TV which is FHD

Sorry for the third post - keep forgetting...

Also you can set what type of TV you have so I don't get the this TV is not HDR. Ie either 8 bit or 10bit. I think I chose 8 bit.

Using a PS4 Pro to playback Netflix would require probably 20 times the power of a dedicated 4K media player such as Nvidia Shield TV (that is IR enabled and supported by B&O puc.

And with that power draw from the PS4 comes fan noise. I would not recommend that kind of unit for media playback if you are going to use that a lot. But you decide of course on your own :-).

PS4 fan noise isn't that bad

I think maybe PS3 was

But yes a games consol does use more power but if you already have one... :-)
