Great setup Leo.

Love the panorama - do I see a bs9k and a smaller CD player in the distance ?

And the lens - are they ornaments or do they make a difference ?

Hehe..

Local dealer actually advised me to not use a subwoofer with the system. No I am considering to remove the Pentas and use them only with the Beosystem 5500, and get the Beolab 14.4 for the Beovision 7.

The lenses are working. I disconnected the original ones (they are still there).

You see a Beosound 9000 and a Beogram 5500 with a retro-fitted RIIA in the corner.

I really wish that my grandfather never walked into the local hifi-shop in the 1980´s and said "Give me the best system you have.".

I started out with a broken Beosystem 5500, and a search for the Penta´s he gave away. I am now on my 5th pair of Pentas. And trust me: my neighbour hated me when I was playing six pentas at the same time Whistle

Hi guys,

First of all, I am new to this forum, thanks for the interesting readings.

I am considering to purchase the S8, so i was very happy to read about your findings. BO refuses this fact.

Did you also test the "d-sub input"? And did you test input on all channel simultanious?

thanks :-)

Hey Michael :-)

Love your TV and it's friend.  Looks also that you have won some award too.

Perhaps make a feature of your cable?  :-)

Hej Rasmussen,

first a welcome to Beoworld.

I am not sure if this is the right 'place' for your question.

There is a whole thread about the S8 on the forum:

http://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/11629.aspx?PageIndex=1

Please take a look there - maybe you can find an answer to your question there?

Or ask it once again in the thread!

P.S. I am not quite sure, what you mean with the last two questions Confused

Greetings MM

Sneak-peek of my new Beolab 3500 which will be mounted in our hallway. Frets will be reclothed to white and I have been thinking of wrapping it in gold but I am no longer sure if that's the way I want to go.

Got this from Northern-AV on eBay - can truly recommend them, great service.

Sound quality is above my expectations and I am glad to add this icon to our collection.

I love the way the polished alloy reflects the surroundings and disguises the size of the speaker.

I see you also have a little Tivoli radio...I had one just like that but gave it to a friend as I wasn't using it much. Great little radio box, good sound, simple, elegant, easy to use. I'd get another except for the fact there's not a single decent radio station where I live now!
