Btw Chris, this is my favorite color - glad to see it looks so elegant IRL.

Thanks for all those precious informations. It's a shame that Loewe doesn't seem to be so reliable as I also find their picture really beautiful (if not as good as Beovision 11)

Apart from all the connection's details, are you happy with the sound when watching TV? I am concerned the sound is spread out as it doesn't come from the TV as a unique source. Is the stereo effect disturbing when coming from the BL14?

Thanks

I'm more than happy with the sound of the beolab 14s, i really can't complain it's rich clear and i just love the solid deep bass from the subwoofer.

they are definitely one of my best purchases. As for picture quality I would have to give it to the new loewe. I've demoed a beovision 11 and even an avant and love them both and if I had the funds I would love to own either one, but where they don't have adjustable motion compensation they still suffer from motion blur on really fast movements.

the replacement loewe tv had zero motion blur when using its digital movie mode on its soft setting but that was due to the new processors and motion algorithms.

I had a B&O installation for some years, a BV10 with BL9 and Beo4. Past months I scouted the Hifi scene, but finally decided to upgrade my B&O setup.

From BV1040/BL9/Beo4 to BVA55/BL5/BR1.

Amazing screen size and quality and amazing sound quality.

Here are some pictures.

The Avant has a much better 'aspect ratio' than the BV10 in your new setup Big Smile Big Smile

Fits much better into the room.

And finally here is my Beocenter 8500. Many thanks to Leslie, this really exceeded my expectations. I can only recommend him for excellent pricing, honest and fair attitude and his enthusiasm for B&O. I am the happiest panda! :D

I'm getting pretty addicted to buy B&O gear from  a couple of years ago Smile. Liked the styling so much better! Only a shame that some of the techniques are a bit outdated, but maybe I can change the panel in the future.

Beobird, that's just beautiful.

I love the BV6 - or BeoCentre 6 - which ever one it is (i always get confused between the 2).  I think it's one of the most beautiful televisions... maybe it is the most television ever designed.

FINALLY on a lovely Spring day ... my H6 unboxing ... I am unsure about the last pic/page ... are 3x a reverse or a misprint ?

(Doesn't work via the BeoSound 4's socket ... why didn't they implement a headset DIN control cable that listened on the record channel ... or whatever !)

Obverse and Reverse views

Tiffany Blue ! Better hide this from the Missus who might thing Christmas is early ...

Inside are two sets of goodies ...

Cans !!

Free at last (these were a present LAST Christmas!)

The goody bag ... Lovely touch with the draw chord button ...

And those confusing instructions know for their brevity as opposed to the Warranty book(let not)

Chris... you're a BeoWhore! lol Watching that BV6.  But I was going to post and the reason while logging in was to write, has anyone used a BV6 as a computer monitor... my free samsung work supplied one isn't doing it for me.  That Red one looks great.

but seriously... that Havana V1 does something special to me.  I think it's the wheels!

I have used the BV8-32 as a monitor - excellent, but not at too close a range - I am sure the BV6 would be great ... Be careful with the connections

Great H6 Elephant :-)  Looks great - just the thing for this Spring day.

Nope, 3x looks good.  2 goes to the next track and 3 takes you back.
