FINALLY on a lovely Spring day ... my H6 unboxing ...

(Doesn't work via the BeoSound 4's socket ... why didn't they implement a headset DIN control cable that listened on the record channel ... or whatever !)

Getting my slipper & pipe territory marked out Big Smile

Oh, it they do work with the BeoSound 4 ... if one firmly seats the plug home.

From here I can AUX-IN xDevice including my BS2, N-Music, CD, SD card (BS2 library of recordings), just need to do an upgrade to get DAB+

My latest Beomaster I found yesterday on a hunt that turned out to be gone the day before. This is a 3000 in teak and so far I can only find the plastic bit by the tuner wheel to be broken. It works very well and the diagram is still in the the envelope not even opend yet!

Chris and Michael,

I had the BV6-22 bought from new with the motorised stand and a DVD1.

It was a lovely, elegant, beautifully made TV with superb sound. BUT and here it the but, it's a VERY VERY VERY EARLY LCD Samsung screen. Even on a 22" close up the image was very very grainy. (I used only the DVD1 and Sky Digital at the time). Chris, you wouldn't have been too impressed i'm afraid. The screen was uncapable of producing black - the end credits of a movie were a washed out grey - as I said, this was early LCD Samsung technology. I don't think it would be very pleasant as a computer monitor in 2014-2015.

Beautiful looking and sounding TV. I enjoyed its presence in my apartment very much at the time. I used it for maybe 1 hour a day on average usually for playing the radio from Sky. The 9 year old that bought it off me got a nice TV bless him :) AND at a third of the price!!!

You are right for a bv 6 22. A beocenter 6 26 or last beovision 6 26 are still really good with the dvi input.

4 beolab 5,  beolab 9, beolab 10, beolab 5000, beolab 8000 mk2, beolab 6002, beolab 3500, beovision 7 55 mk2,  2 beovision 11 46 mk4, beotime, beosound ouverture, beosound essence, beoplay A8, beomaster 900 RG de luxe and the collection continues...

Cool Olvisab. The 26 had a panel by Sharp which was very bizarre. (as did the BV8 26 & 32 - the 40 had a Samsung screen).

The 6 is a lovely looking set BUT what a terrible shame no HDMI!!! Unforgiveable for the BeoCentre 6 in 2007. Apple TV does not play well with DVI

It encapsulates the DNA of BANG&OLUFSEN Chris - timeless design! It's lovely and pretty timeless maybe because it was a small set, maybe as a 40", it would not of worked design wise. Oh my, now i'm having dreams of a BV11-22/26 :) :) :) :) Now that would look nice :)

We've got a BV 6 and a V1 and love both . What is it about your inability to live in the now?

Solved ... I followed the link and found videos of Fox Terriers as well as B&O

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPBVgzakv4FJ9VTH7qzV7HA/videos?feature=hovercard

And there is was looking for statues of foxes, cushions with foxes, or something in the TV show !

Good idea tho' .... making videos of our installations ... I might do a grand tour of my setup to explain the value of integration and link rooms to non-B&O people !

Did anyone ever dressed the BL5 as Christmas tree? The shape is there...

I gave a very hard thought about it. I might do that next year. I never had 2 trees in the same apartment, never mind the same room!

The Essence of B&O is discretion in design and life

I have some videos showing my fox terrier dogs on YouTube Smile My second hobby apart from B&O.

Here is my "new" bedroom system..

My white BM3500 now with CD3500 in white also, upgraded with 2-way 2.2 SW so it works with my BL7000.. Beocord 3500 is in the process of becoming white, but it will not be joining the rest, but will be kept in safe storage so the system is "complete"

Just need to get hold of a black drawer to match, then the white will look even cooler :)

Dont know if this will work, I have tried many times to upload photos but without success, not very computer savvy I'm afraid,

so I thought I would try a video, tried about five times without success so fingers crossed this time it worked

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to share my progress on my new home Detroit Bang & Olufsen Heritage Appreciation Gallery... Still working on the name Erm..

Here, the 1000 and 4000 will be awaiting an overdue rebuild while supplying tunes in the kitchen. After the holidays I will be back in MI to make more progress with the living room and bedroom systems. I am saving the best for last - I finally have my BeoLab 5000s back (they have been in storage at my parents house for 2+ years) and I can't wait to hear them again!

The 3404 is currently sitting just out of frame on the counter top. I have been pondering where to put it.... With the correct isolation, this may work!!
