First of all thank you for the comments, guys Stick out tongue

Aussie Michael:

I loved the pictures thanks :-)  Love your TRON poster and may I ask what kind of computer monitor is that?  Or is it an All-In-One computer?

It is the Dell U2414H monitor connected to the Gigabyte Brix Pro nano computer (it sits under the monitor in the picture). For a while I thought about using a BeoVision 6 or 8, 26" as a monitor as discussed in a thread here on BW, but I came to the conclusion that they had too low resolution. I then took the plunge on this Full HD Dell monitor and hooked up the BeoLab 4's for the audio. I am very satisfied with the result. A phenomenal monitor!

BeoVision Eclipse 55, BeoPlay S8 (sub+rears), BeoPlay A9 MKII (living room), BeoVision Avant 32 DVD (retro gaming, basement), BeoLab 4000 (entertainment room, basement), BeoSound 8 (workshop), 2x BeoPlay S3 (PC), BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay H2/H3 (on the go)

LOVE the unboxing pictures, thanks! I'm expecting mine any day now! I can't wait!

A question, are all of the electronics integrated within the keypad module, and there's nothing in the base of the remote structure? If so, then theoretically, one may be able to buy different housings for the Beoremote One, and change them to your liking... silk, polished aluminum, rose gold... other colors? I'd love an anodized black to match all of my current equipment Cool

Yep, all electronics are in the keypad module. So in theory one should be able to swap housing.

Would you like to tell us how you treated the leather? I read your blog, and I want my H6's to get that same look Big Smile

Hi all,

Joining the club, here is my newly installed setup with a BV Avant 55, a pair of Beolab 18 (black) and one Beolab 19 (no rears at this stage).

The Avant is connected to two sources (a set top box and an Oppo Blu-Ray player), also talking via wired ethernet to my NAS where all my music files are stored (FLAC). I still have to integrate the remotes of these 2 sources to the Beoremote One but beside this point the setup is working great.

Very nice setup mf22433! You have stone floor and windows at least on two sides, how this environment is affecting acoustically? And what is that silver thing on ceiling?

Actually not a big issue, the room is quite large (+- 6.5m wide on +-13m long, even longer with a narrower corridor), it extends behind what you see on the picture, it is actually one large open space that include the kitchen and the dining table. This volume limits the impact of low frequency standing waves. In this area (above the kitchen) there is also a suspended acoustic ceiling that play its role taming the higher frequencies. It works quite well actually. I may also add a carpet under this low table at some stage but acoustically I don't really feel the necessity yet.

On the other hand, it is for every day use, if I really want to listen to music loud or watch a movie with very loud sound, I have a dedicated room for that where I can isolate.

The silver thing on the ceiling is part of the light, it is a rail on which I can position the 4 lights at any location.

Stunningly good looking room! Modern minimalism sure seems to be a natural for B&O products. I would imagine the reduced vertical dispersion of the ALT lens would be a benefit in a very live room, especially with hard floors.

Exactly what I´m thinking about to this really nice ambiente.  How I can enjoy my drinks, which are far, far away and how many people are sitting comfortly in front of the screen ??

I keep the drinks with me in the couch Smile  We are four in the family, there is another one person seat more or less in front of the TV. It is true that from the couch we  see the TV from angle which is actually not causing us issues.  It is a compromise, we did not want to turn the back to the rest of the room. This picture does not give a global overview of the room.

So here is my set up in my bedroom, Beomaster 2400.2, Beogram 4004, Beocord 2400, Beovox S80.2, and an Airport Express wired in for Airplay. And yes, the Beomaster Control Module works and controls the turntable, currently spinning After Forever by Kasper Bjørke or marble vinyl.

Haha yes! I'm an artist on the side and primarily work with lighting effects and use LEDs all the time, I just had some left over from a project and figured they'd accent the set up well. Do you use phillips hue? I've looked into it but haven't really seen the value given the price.

Yes, I have an Technics SL1200 MK3D I use for lower quality records that I sometimes set up in place of the Beocord, I use the phono stage on the NAD so I can use the Tape input on the Beomaster and have both turntables connected at the same time, I also have my airport express attached to the NAD, I'm only using the Pre Amp circuit on it, I actually pulled the fuses for the main amp.

I bought the starter-kit, but ended up returning it because the bulbs was faulty.

There are some really nice apps (ios, atleast) that works with the hue bulbs. They will follow the music you play, and it really turn you rliving-room into a night-club. I invited my friends 8-year old daughter over to watch a Queen-concert, and her father said he had never seen her that happy before :)

But for just regular colours I simply use the Ikea LED´s.

just had to replace my by BeoCenter 1 (RiP) and went for a BeoVisoin 6 26 with HDMi/Freeview and motorised floor stand. Maybe a little old school but I prefer the smaller size screens when used in secondary rooms like the kitchen, dinning room etc...

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
